St David's is obviously a city in the ecclesiastical sense as it has a cathedral but it also has a charter making it legally a city. This was presented to the city in the cathedral by the Queen on 1 June 1995 For some reason the cathedral always uses the name St Davids without an apostrophe but the official name is St David's next slide
